Apple has accelerated its work on the developer version of iOS 17. The company, which is testing iOS 17 with beta versions before the launch in September, shared another update in the past hours. With the iOS 17 Beta 7, the “End Search” button has been replaced once again.
iOS 17 Beta 7 features and fixed bugs
Apple has released the seventh beta of iOS 17. The new package, which is available for iOS 17 users enrolled in the Developer Beta, is a relatively small update. However, it implements a critical design change in the beta software.
The biggest innovation in iOS 17 Beta 7 seems to be the changed design of the keypad during a call. Apple has moved the “End Call” button to the bottom center of the keypad, changing its controversial position from the previous beta.
The new beta also fixes the mute switch bug that was accidentally disabled in the previous version. Beta 7 brings back the haptic feedback of the mute switch.
It should be noted that Beta 7 addresses previous complaints with these changes. It should be noted that it does not contain any different features beyond the change in the search screen.
iOS 17 is expected to be announced in September and distributed at the end of the year. As the public release date approaches, it is likely that there will be fewer updates in beta versions.
Previous beta packages have added features to iMessage and FaceTime. However, Apple’s focus now seems to be on bug fixes.
